Sharon Osborne urged the federal government to yank the US visa for Irish rap group, which launched anti-Israel tilade at the Coachella stage on Saturday.
British television personality 72 denounced West Belfast Group’s Kneecap, projecting “hate speech” and supporting “terrorist organizations” at the popular Southern California music festival.
“Irish rap group Kneecap has taken its performance to another level by incorporating a positive political statement,” Osborne said in a long rant. Posted on x on Tuesdayshe cited music as a source of unity in an era of “important anxiety.”
“Their actions include anti-Israel messages and anticipation of hate speech, and the band openly supports terrorist organizations. The actions raise concerns about the appropriateness of participating in such festivals, and furthermore, they are booked to perform in the United States.”
“We encourage you to participate in advocating for the cancellation of Kneecap’s workplace visa.”

Watchdog Group previously said it had tried to warn Coachella owners of the problematic Proteroband platform.
Osborne was also slapped with claims that Golden Voice was “blinded” by Knee Cup performance.
“I know that certain people in the industry wrote to Golden Voice and aired concerns about bookings for knecap,” Osborne argued in the X-Post.
“Coachella 2025 will be remembered as a festival that compromises moral and spiritual integrity. The Golden Voice, organized by the festival, promoted this by allowing artists to use the Coachella stage as a platform for political expression.”
Kneecap and Goldenvoice representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the post.
