On Tuesday night, a screaming maniac stabbed a man who was watching Netflix on a train in Brooklyn. The victim now says he will think twice before riding the subway again.
According to the victim and officials, the 32-year-old victim was watching a show on a northbound Q train at Park Place and 7th Avenue in Park Slope just after 11 p.m. when a stranger suddenly started yelling at him. It is said that
“I was coming home from work to Astoria,” the victim, who did not want to give his name, told the Post in Spanish. “I was watching a show on Netflix and a guy came onto the train and started yelling at me.
“I didn't pay any attention to him because I thought he was crazy,” Ryder added. “But then he punched me and stabbed me in the chest and arm with something.”
The injured man was taken to Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he received two stitches in his arm and two stitches in his chest.
The victim, who is originally from Mexico and had a wife and children in his hometown, said the attack made him afraid to ride the subway.
“I had never seen anything like it,” he said. “I couldn't believe something like that could happen… Something like that had never happened to me.”
“Actually, I'm scared.”
The suspect fled onto the street after the attack and was still on the loose Wednesday.
The random assault occurred hours after a teenage girl was slashed in the face inside a Bronx subway station, police said.

Authorities said the girl was stabbed in the left side of her face with a knife inside the 161st Street/Yankee Stadium subway station around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
She was taken to Harlem Hospital where she was listed in stable condition.
According to officials, the circumstances leading up to the attack are unclear because the young victim was uncooperative with investigators.
Video released by the NYPD on Wednesday shows the assailant, who is still at large, passing through the station's emergency exit gate.
