As officers approached, the man could be seen moving his feet, then suddenly turned to the right and slid off the guardrail.

That's when Reyes sprung into action, grabbing the man's hoodie as his legs dangled in the cold water below.

A jogger who was passing by arrived at the scene and helped Reyes grab the man's arm. A man could be heard moaning loudly as he looked outside and dangled precariously from the bridge for several seconds.

“Hey, doctor, come on,” Reyes is heard saying, and the Good Samaritan asks, “Are you okay? Are you okay?”

According to News9, the man told police he did not intend to harm himself and that he was resting when he fell asleep because the weather was nice.

Police say Reyes gave a ride to his family and is not homeless.
