Snoop Dogg Honors Ohtani and Yamamoto in Miami Performance
Snoop Dogg took the stage in Miami over the weekend, where he humorously paid tribute to baseball stars Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto during his show. This performance took place at E11EVEN, just before the F1 Miami Grand Prix.
As he prepared to entertain the audience, Snoop donned a shirt celebrating both athletes, showing his support in style. The T-shirt featured an image of the Los Angeles All-Stars, decked out in flashy suits and sparkling jewelry—reminiscent of Snoop and Tupac’s iconic looks from the 1996 MTV Video Music Awards.
Ultimately, Snoop set the stage ablaze with his energetic performance, belting out fan favorites like “Ain’t No Fun.” It’s clear he knows how to captivate a crowd.
This isn’t Snoop’s first gesture of support for the Dodgers, either. As someone from Long Beach, he has represented the team for years. He even threw out the ceremonial first pitch at a Dodgers game in 2008 while sporting an LA jersey. And back in 2002, he got the crowd going at the 29th American Music Awards, dressed head to toe in Dodgers gear.
Ohtani and Yamamoto are scheduled to face off against the Astros later on Monday, but whether they’ll reciprocate Snoop’s tribute during their time in Houston remains to be seen.
