Soros-backed radio station faces probe for revealing ‘live location’ of undercover ICE agents

Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Kerr announced Thursday that the agency has launched an investigation into a radio station in San Francisco, claiming it has exposed the “live location” of undercover federal immigration agents.

KCBS 740 AM provided listeners with further information on immigration and customs enforcement agents on January 26th. The segment shared the manufacturers, colors, models of multiple unmarked federal law enforcement agencies, and the exact location of ice officers operating on the “east side of town.”

“We want to keep an eye on whether this is happening nationwide.”

“The Santa Clara County Rapid Response Network, a community defense projection system for migrant communities against the threat of deportation, first reported activity on its platform,” the radio station said.

Carr said Fox News' Brian Kilmeade said the broadcast was “really concerned.”

“What happened was masked in East San Jose, part of a town known for its violent gang activity, so this radio station broadcasts live locations and the unmarked vehicle they are in. “We were identifying the following,” Kerr said. “It's saying it's time for people to fight on the streets against the background of Congress' Democratic leadership.”

Kerr mentioned comments made by Democratic politicians earlier this week. Rep. Ayana Presley (D-Mass.) told the crowd when Elon Musk protested that he had access to data records at the Treasury Department.

“Unprecedented organisation, mobilization, and upsetting, we will meet you in courts, parliament, [and] on the road! ” she declared.

Carr told Fox News that the FCC has launched a formal investigation into the San Francisco-based radio station over the report.

“We sent a letter of inquiry, a formal investigation into the matter. They responded to the investigation and explained how this could be consistent with their obligations of public interest. It's still there for a few days,” he explained.

In September, the Democratic-controlled FCC approved left-wing billionaire George Soros's $400 million bespoke Macy debt, making Soros a massive stakeholder at the second-largest radio company . Audicy owns more than 220 stations nationwide, including San Francisco's KCB.
