SpaceX to launch Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center, will release more Starlink satellites

SpaceX is preparing to launch its Falcon 9 Rocket on Monday using the Starlink Internet Beam satellite in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

The four-hour launch window opens at 2:21 p.m. ET, according to Kennedy Space Center.

The Brevard County launch site, about an hour east of the Orlando theme park, will be able to see people from near and far, as long as cloud cover, weather and visibility cooperate.

“SpaceX's StarLink is a constellation of networked satellites intended to bring internet service to those who are not already connected and provide reliable and affordable internet around the world,” said Kennedy Space The center said on its launch details website.

A Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from the other side of the country on Friday and delivered 23 Starlink satellites “to the constellation” after launching from California, SpaceX said on X.

The Falcon 9 has been called “the world's first orbital-class reusable rocket.” According to the Aerospace Company website, 426 missions, 382 total landings, and 355 total refights were completed.
