Mr. Johnson released a new video on Thursday morning, lasting about a minute and a half, highlighting the crisis that has plagued the United States throughout much of Mr. Biden’s White House tenure.
The House speaker also attacked Biden in a statement to Fox News Digital, calling for a “real leader” in the White House.
“The State of the Union address provides the American people an opportunity to hear directly from the president, a rare event during a president’s term in office,” Johnson said.

The video, a collection of news clips and soundbites, begins with Biden declaring that “the federal nation is strong.”
He then jumps between anchors and experts to explain the situation at the U.S.-Mexico border. The surge in asylum seekers is straining state and local resources, and the influx of illegal fentanyl is killing Americans every day.
