Speakers revealed for Kirk's memorial service, featuring Trump and Vance

Trump and Vance to Attend Charlie Kirk’s Memorial

President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance are set to address the memorial service for Charlie Kirk in Arizona.

Kirk, a 31-year-old co-founder and CEO of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), tragically lost his life last Wednesday during an open-mic event at Utah Valley University. This gathering marked the start of the “American Comeback Tour,” aimed at fostering dialogue among students. The suspect, Tyler Robinson, aged 22, was apprehended following a 33-hour search.

TPUSA announced that the memorial will take place this Sunday at State Farm Stadium, located in Glendale, Arizona.

Erika Kirk, Kirk’s widow, is expected to give a eulogy—this will be her second public address since his death.

Vance, who has been friends with Kirk since the first Trump administration, has been vocal in honoring him lately. He recently shared a nearly 1,000-word post on X and dedicated a special podcast episode to Kirk. Interestingly, he also opted to cancel a planned visit to Ground Zero for 9/11 in order to transport Kirk’s casket home on Air Force Two.

The lineup of speakers is shaping up, including:

  • Erika Kirk
  • President Trump
  • Vice President JD Vance
  • White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles
  • Secretary of State Marco Rubio
  • Health and Human Services Secretary Robert K. Kennedy, Jr.
  • Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth
  • Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard
  • Donald Trump Jr.
  • Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson
  • Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller
  • Ambassador to India nominee Sergio Gor

More names are expected to be added later.

In terms of music, several Christian artists, including Chris Tomlin and Kari Jobe Carnes, will lead the worship during the service.

Doors will open at 8 a.m., with the memorial set to commence at 11 a.m. Attendees are encouraged to wear “Sunday Best—Red, White, or Blue.”

On Monday, Trump conveyed to reporters his anticipation that the stadium—capable of holding over 63,000 people—will be “packed” for the memorial.

“I knew him very well. He was an amazing guy. He was all about young people, getting them started right. He was like a magnet for young people,” Trump reflected on Kirk.

“Charlie’s life was short, but it was full. It was defined by truth, anchored in faith, and devoted to the country he loved. His legacy will endure for generations. And now he hears the words of Matthew 25:23 from his Lord and Savior: ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.’”
