As the election results began to come in, candidate Spencer Pratt radiated confidence, believing he not only triumphed over Nisya Raman but was also ready to face incumbent Karen Bass in the runoff. He seemed genuinely optimistic about his next steps.
“Spencer Pratt is already acting like he’s set for this runoff,” remarked Blaze TV host Stu Bruguiere, before airing footage of Pratt speaking to reporters before all votes were counted.
A reporter quizzed Pratt, “Are you going to talk about Karen Bass again? What would you say if she heard this?”
Pratt responded, “I really enjoyed debating her on NBC. I’m looking forward to more debates, maybe even every Friday if she’s up for it—those were the highlights for me.”
“I hope she’s prepared. Honestly, I couldn’t be more excited,” he added.
Stu chimed in, “Politicians named Dave usually end up debating the least competent opponents, so it sounds like Spencer’s in a solid spot.”
His co-host, Dave Landau, agreed but mentioned, “I’m not sure that approach will resonate in California.”
“Winning in Los Angeles will be tough for Spencer. With two Democrats and just one Republican, their votes might split enough to hinder his chances,” Stu explained. “When the dynamics are one-on-one, like one Republican and one Democrat, it can be incredibly challenging, especially with the current climate affecting the Republican Party.”
“But Spencer is staying positive, trying to keep his spirits up as he looks ahead,” he noted.
In a chat after the election results, Pratt stated, “Clearly, God has given us five more months to unveil the mayor’s failures.”
“I think it’s going to be quite the journey; I hope she’s ready,” he asserted, adding with confidence that he was “born for this.”
“In terms of the debate, it’s about proving myself against her,” said Dave. “And it seems he’s prepared to do that.”
“The late-night vote counts are what I’ll be keeping an eye on,” he admitted.
