Staffers Feel Abandoned By Bob Iger, ‘Pandering to Keep MAGA Happy’

It was a brutal week for Disney.

Several uneasy senior staffers bashed CEO Bob Iger and ran to the deadline for left-leaning Hollywood trade publications, telling President Donald Trump, “What's next? Where will you go from here?” What will we stand now, keeping the Magazine happy?”

“This is not what I expected of Bob – I thought he had our backs,” unnamed staff member said. I said Igar's exit.

on monday, Captain America: A brave new worldto regain Disney's latest box office magic, announced the final forecast The opening is between $700-85 million. “New Marvel movies, especially a Captain America Films, those aren't very promising numbers,” pointed out John Norte of Breitbart.

On Tuesday, I dumped a miserable headline on Bob Iger's desk. “Disney executives are worried that rising prices will keep families away from theme parks,” read one headline from Breitbart, adding, “As investor backlash grows Disney will be in two DEI programs “I'll drop it.” The latter headline said Disney employees felt abandoned by Eiger.

Wednesday's news report Captain America 4 The world premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday night was dominated by reports of protesters who crashed flashy events and shouted “Free Palestine” and “Boycott Disney” with signs.

Disney's bad news headlines on Wednesday include early reviews of Nolte: “Captain America: Brave New World” lowering the stupid trigger warnings in “Lukewarm” and Nolte: Disney Waters old movies. The latter is again considered a sign from inside the Mouse house. Igar isn't awake enough.

As I mentioned in this Breitbart Fight Club essay last month, Disney has dark days. The company remains struggling with a self-harm culture war that endured the fight against Florida law banning radical LGBTQ in elementary schools. One in four Americans avoid Disney movies because of politics. The streaming service abandoned another million subscribers in the last quarter.

It was only a matter of time before Bob Iger had to embrace the same reality that his Hollywood peers became welcoming. In the Trump world, awakening is an outdated currency.

Disney's brand is in free fall. Igar knows this. He also knows he's behind the game of keeping Disney away from DEI. The departure of the race and gender initiatives of major Hollywood companies from Netflix to Warner Bros. Discovery began in the summer of 2023.

The more movements Eiger makes, the more likely they will cut trans storylines from kids' shows, and cancel very expensive, small viewed lesbian witches. Star Wars In the series, he alienates the extremists in his company and bashes him by running to friendly Hollywood media.

At what point does Bob Iger not care much about restoring Disney's brands, and not even care more about his own polish? Certainly, the 74-year-old CEO's contract with Disney will end in 2026. Soon, this confusion will deal with someone else.
