Starmer urges Prince Andrew to speak after Epstein documents are made public

UK Prime Minister Urges Prince Andrew to Testify on Epstein Revelations

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has called for former Prince Andrew, now Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, to give evidence before Parliament following the release of new documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein.

The recently disclosed materials include a disturbing photo of Andrew kneeling over an unnamed woman. Two images show him leaning down with his hand on her stomach, while another captures him on his knees, hands beside her, directed at the camera.

Starmer shared his stance with reporters on Saturday, expressing support for Andrew’s testimony in the United States. “I’ve always maintained that individuals with information should come forward,” he stated. “You can’t prioritize victims if you’re not prepared to do that. Epstein’s victims deserve to be heard first.”

In mid-October, Andrew had announced his decision to step back from royal duties, leading to King Charles III initiating formal procedures to strip him of his titles and honors.

Last week, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee revealed the new images. They had previously called for Andrew to testify when he lost his title back in November.

In another newly released photo from December, Andrew was seen lying across the laps of five individuals, all with their faces obscured, while Ghislaine Maxwell and another unidentified person, also with obscured faces, stood behind them.

While Andrew and Epstein did not appear in these photos, reports indicated that the evidence included an email Epstein sent in March 2011 to someone referred to as a “duke,” widely believed to be Andrew.

Beyond his association with Epstein, Andrew has faced accusations of sexual assault from Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s accusers. Giuffre’s lawsuit claimed that Andrew forced her to engage in sexual acts when she was just 17. This lawsuit was settled in 2022, with Andrew not admitting any wrongdoing.
