Stefon Diggs Confirmed as Father of Eileen Lopera’s Child

Stefon Diggs, the boyfriend of Cardi B, has been confirmed as the father of Eileen Lopera’s baby, named Charlie Harper Diggs-Lopera.

“Paternity has been confirmed. Mr. Diggs is the father of the child,” said Lopera’s attorney, Tamar Alminak, in a statement to Page Six on Wednesday. “Now that the paternity has been established, my client hopes Mr. Diggs will be a great parent to his daughter.”

Despite the paternity issue being settled, Alminak noted that the case hasn’t been dismissed and may proceed if an agreement isn’t reached between the parties involved.

Lopera’s legal team confirmed the paternity results on Wednesday after initially filing a lawsuit against Diggs in December 2024.

At the time of her complaint, Lopera sought legal and physical custody of the child, leaving only visitation rights for Diggs. She also requested that the NFL star cover all expenses related to her pregnancy, childbirth, and legal fees.

Charlie was born in April 2025.

Diggs, who responded to the lawsuit in July, expressed uncertainty about the child’s paternity and requested DNA testing to clarify the situation.

If the tests establish his parentage, Diggs plans to seek joint legal and physical custody, along with a shared responsibility for pregnancy and childbirth costs.

Currently, Diggs is in a relationship with Cardi B, who recently announced she is expecting their first child together during an interview on “CBS Morning.” She shared the news with Gayle King after months of speculation.

“I’m excited. I’m happy. I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel so strong,” Cardi, 33, stated, mentioning she is balancing work and her pregnancy.

Cardi has three children—Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1—whom she shares with her estranged husband Offset. Diggs also has a daughter, Nova, who is 9 years old, from a previous relationship with Tyler Marie, dating back to October 2016.
