Steve Deace expresses anger over Minnesota church protest: Churches need to follow THIS 4-step plan immediately or risk complete failure

On Sunday, January 18th, around 40 protesters against immigration policies disrupted morning services at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota. They shouted phrases like “ICE out!” and demanded justice for Renee Good, a woman fatally shot by an ICE agent during an immigration operation in Minneapolis on January 7, after she hit him with her car. This church was particularly targeted, as one of its pastors, David Easterwood, also serves as the acting field director for the local ICE office.

The protest created a chaotic scene that alarmed congregants, frightened children, and prompted several 911 calls. The U.S. Department of Justice is now looking into potential civil rights violations related to the incident, specifically regarding the FACE Act, which makes it illegal to use threats or physical obstruction to interfere with someone’s right to worship.

Blaze TV host Steve Deace expressed his anger after watching footage of the incident, criticizing not only the protesters but also the church’s lackluster response.

During an episode of “The Steve Deace Show,” he harshly critiqued the church’s actions and proposed a four-step plan to protect against such protests.

He has long warned that conservatives must establish a strong deterrent to defend themselves against aggressive leftist movements, suggesting failure to do so could lead to dire consequences.

“The trends in society concern me deeply. Human nature dictates that without consequences for bad behavior, it only escalates,” he remarked.

He noted that the increasing extremism from the left has mostly been left unchallenged, emboldening them to push further.

He likened the left to a swarm of locusts, claiming they’ve already consumed many social institutions and have now set their sights on sacred spaces, which he sees as their ultimate aim.

Deace argued this is a reflection of a deeper, darker agenda, suggesting that this situation is what those with malevolent intentions want.

He remarked that adversaries on the left feel emboldened, believing there’s no opposition to their actions. “They can do whatever they please, and who is there to stop them?” he questioned.

He expressed concern over the apparent cowardice of elected officials, questioning when significant action or resistance would begin.

Deace believes that impending societal collapse is looming, emphasizing that future generations—especially Millennials and Gen Z—could bear the brunt of the consequences if action isn’t taken now.

He argued that last weekend’s events at Cities Church highlight the urgency of bold actions to prevent further transgressions, warning that if the left continues unopposed, there will be no boundaries left.

“If they are daring enough to invade your church, they won’t hesitate to encroach upon your home next,” he added.

He prompted the audience to consider the biblically appropriate response to actions like those at Cities Church, suggesting a need for teachings on responsible power and proper biblical interpretations like Romans 13. Without that understanding, he fears people might not respond with the appropriate measures. “We are not about to act like a mob, but we can’t be pushover either,” he stated.

He further suggested that churches should have armed security present every Sunday, proposing that signage indicate the church’s preparedness to act if threatened.

He underscored the necessity for men to take protective positions in situations involving extremists and criminals, signaling that action should be taken if the situation escalates.

“If all else fails, take action!” he urged. “You have rights as an American. You are entitled to protect your loved ones and your freedom. This is not just an entitlement; it’s a duty,” he concluded.
