Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) I explained it Above Alex Marlow Show Continued Resolution of Stop Gap (CR) has allowed Republicans to focus on passing laws to cut spending and reduce inflation.
Former House Freedom Caucus Chairman Perry, Editor-in-Chief of Breitbart News, spoke to the host Alex Marlow Show A stopgap spending bill that freezes government funds for six months when the House passes an ongoing resolution (CR).
Conservatives have long disliked CR, but Perry and members of the Freedom Caucus have defended the need to pass the current Stop-Gap Expense Bill, particularly as the recent CRS maintains spending levels and other policies during the Biden era, and believe Trump's agenda will be possible.
Conservatives in Keystone State said CR progress will serve as a major victory at many levels as Congressional leaders are prohibited from passing the omnibus spending bill.
“What's different, the context about this is that we didn't accomplish our spending, but our leadership wanted to do an omnibus. They wanted that four corner deal. CR is not a Four Corners deal. They don't want a CR. They were forced into it by people like me and honestly the President said,” Perry said. Alex Marlow Show.
Many conservatives disliked continuing Biden's policies through the previous CRS, but now that Trump has become president, Perry said the 47th president has moved to block, suspend and cut spending across the government.
He said: “I'm not spending money on planned parent-child relationships. I'm not spending money on USAID for everything we've already identified as wasted spending. So we've finally got a partner in the office of presidency and management and budgets. [OMB] It is Las Vote, and in itself. ”
He added that Trump's border border Tom Homan “can continue his work,” and that Trump can “continue the right government sizing” and remove waste, fraud and abuse.
Perry also emphasized that the CR will be included in the six-month spending bill “billions of dollars.” He spoke of one case where Republican lawmakers were broken because the spending bill no longer includes his sculpture in the law.
He revealed Alex Marlow Show“A Republican was complaining to me at this morning's meeting. He's complaining. I think you're talking to a guy, a brother.”
He added, “I'm not into it.”
Readers of Breitbart News will remember the seemingly endless number of goals that slipped into the $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill for Christmas 2022.
Marlow then asked Perry what House Pass CR could be for Congressional Republicans.
Perry said Republicans could focus on passing Trump's “big, beautiful” bill to secure borders and expand and expand Trump's tax cuts in 2017.
“The house has passed the framework,” he said. “The Senate has talked about things, but nothing has passed. You need to put the meat on the bones and start cutting government costs, right?”
“The president said he wanted to balance the budget. That doesn't happen in a year, but we've come to walk the path to it, and that means making some difficult choices,” he continued.
He said Congress should pursue a policy that guarantees “all the money needed” to ensure Tom Homan's borders.
“That should be possible for us to run in a year and a half from now,” he added, referring to the 2026 midterm elections.
