Study Shows Trump’s DEI Changes Are Working

FBI Leadership Changes Under Trump Administration

Reports indicate that at least 18 field office chiefs at the FBI have been dismissed since the beginning of the second Trump administration, according to current and former officials referenced by MSNBC.

The most recent resignations include the head of the Salt Lake City Field Office, an American of Pakistani descent who managed three FBI personnel. Other high-ranking officials have also either left or been urged into early retirement. Notably, last year, 21% of the FBI’s 56 field offices were led by women, which is a significant increase from 7% in 2002.

“The idea that Kash Patel, the first Indian-American confirmed as FBI director, is purposely targeting minorities in the Bureau is, frankly, absurd,” commented FBI spokesman Ben Williamson.

Williamson added that personnel decisions within the agency are driven strictly by “merit and performance” and he declined to elaborate on particular cases.

Interestingly, the FBI has reinstated stringent physical fitness requirements that were lifted years ago, now mandating that trainees must complete at least one challenging pull-up, according to reports.

After Trump assumed the presidency, six special agents (SACs) along with a chief of field office intelligence were let go, as shared by an official from the FBI. This group included individuals of various backgrounds: two white women, two black women, one black man, one Asian American man, and one white man. The intelligence chief from the Washington Field Office was also reportedly asked to resign.

This wave of departures follows a Presidential Order enacted in January by President Trump, which prohibits federal employees from factoring DEI-related considerations in their hiring or evaluation processes.

The order states, “Federal employment practices will reward individual initiatives, skills, performance, and hard work.” In line with this, the Department of Education is also moving to eliminate the DEI program and associated training materials.

Many of these initiatives were originally introduced by former President Joe Biden, who promoted a Presidential Order aimed at advancing racial equity and supporting underserved communities through federal actions.
