Sunday with Lou Sanders: ‘A fireside pub table for games – Bananagrams, Scrabble’ | Lou Sanders

Sunday morning? I recently bought this book morning miracle. It’s about waking up 90 minutes early to journal, exercise, meditate, and breathe. When I started, I felt like a CEO. I told everyone how much my life had changed. On day 6, I threw it away and never looked back.

What would you do instead? I wake up around 8am and go see my two cats. They will follow your cat while snuggling to let them know that they are loved.

Sunday training? Now I’m back to fitness. I swim at the lido and do yoga. I sometimes go to gymnastics classes. I’m not a natural, so I’ve been trying to master the front flip for longer than I can remember.

What’s for lunch? I love roasts. The other week, a friend invited a few of us to Sunday lunch. When I got there, she was just cooking a normal meal. Sunday lunch is not Sunday lunch. I was furious. Feed your vegan Yorkie pudding and she squeals with glee like a piglet.

Are you growing on Sunday? When Dad comes to pick us up, he’ll take us to Toby Carberry. There’s nothing wrong with Toby Carberry…but is there also a problem? Other than that, I watched TV. The family was not so child-centered. I might have gone to the castle once with a sandwich, but that was it.

A dreamy day? Write some really good jokes. Swim in cold water. Meet your friends at the hearth pub table and play games like Bananagrams or Scrabble. And, ideally, someone will push me.

the last thing At night? You’re playing with yourself like an idiot… No, that’s not true. I just started doing face yoga, thank you for noticing. You don’t want to go under the knife, so this will pinch your cheeks and nose like a nutter to make you look younger.
