US Supreme Court I agree Hearing verbal debates about the Trump administration’s efforts to end birthright citizenship.
The controversial policy has been criticized by immigrant Hawks who hope that the suspension will close automatic citizenship for illegal foreign children and remove immigration incentives.

The court moved the case from the emergency facility to regular Metrough Docket and had scheduled a hearing on May 15th.
President Donald Trump has issued an executive order directing federal agencies to suspend the issuance of citizenship documents to children of illegal immigrants born after February 19th. Several challenges in the court led the administration to seek emergency appeals from the Supreme Court.
Opponents of the policy say it is based on a misconception of the 14th Amendment, which was intended to grant citizenship to the former slaves who were freed.
“Congress has never passed a federal law granting birthright citizenship, so it is still in use, not constitutional, not federal law, not in legislative history.” blazetv host Mark Levin.
“Birthright citizenship is a debate, a position, and because Democrats always want exclusive power, it’s a policy held by Democrats and I don’t care if they’re foreigners,” he added.
Policy proponents point to more than 100 years of policies relying on birthright citizenship and assuming its effectiveness.
“The administrative agency has complied with the resolution of the interpretation of the citizenship clause for 125 years, demonstrating that the government does not need to change it now,” he said, filings from two immigration groups in the case.
In 2018, House Speaker Paul Ryan compared the Ending Barklight Citizenship through Trump and Eumid Order with former President Barack Obama, who seeks to change immigration policies through the same tactics.
