Anton Rucker, the gunman accused of killing one person at an Easter Sunday brunch at a Nashville coffee shop, has a long criminal history, Fox 17 reported.
Metro Nashville Police say Rucker remains at large and is on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s (TBI) Most Wanted list following the shooting that killed 33-year-old Allen Beachem. Announced.
Fox 17 revealed that Rucker has an extensive rap sheet that includes multiple convictions for aggravated assault, eluding police, and drug trafficking.
According to the TBI’s criminal history report, Rucker’s convictions date back to 1997 and have become increasingly serious over the years. He was most recently arrested in Rutherford County in October of this year and is currently facing three charges of drug sales, Fox 17 reported.

“He has a gang assault conviction in Nashville, was arrested on Oct. 31 of last year on a felony drug charge, and last August in Murfreesboro on gang assault and gun charges,” Metro said. The Nashville Police Department posted on X (formerly Twitter).
TBI said Rucker is considered armed and dangerous. They are also offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to his whereabouts.
On Monday morning, police said a Mercedes believed to belong to Rucker was found overnight. Detectives continue to search for Rucker, and police said his size remained unchanged as of Monday night.
Police said the shooting occurred around 3 p.m. when Rucker opened fire inside the coffee shop. Attacked 5 people and killed 1.

“There was an altercation between two men in Roorsted. Sunday brunch was being served. It was during that time that an altercation occurred and escalated very quickly, and one of the men pulled out a gun and fired several shots. Shots were fired,” Don Aaron said. Metro Police attended Sunday’s press conference.
The restaurant where the shooting occurred, Roast Salemtown, released a statement regarding the shooting.
“We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident that occurred in Roasted Salem Town on Easter Sunday. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families and those affected by this senseless act of violence. Our thoughts are with everyone affected. We are cooperating with and trusting the authorities as they continue to investigate this heinous crime,” the restaurant wrote in a Facebook post.

The restaurant said it will work closely with local government and community leaders to understand how to prevent such tragedies in the future and ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
