Sydney Sweeney has taken center stage as the golden girl.

The 28-year-old actress bared it all for W Magazine’s “Best Performance” issue, adorned solely in shimmering metallic body paint and a Chopard Haute Joyeilly necklace.

The compelling visuals draw parallels to Kim Kardashian’s earlier, controversial silver body paint images from the November 2010 issue of Glossy. Those images sparked significant buzz, leading to Kardashian’s emotional fallout on “Kourtney and Kim Shoot New York” after feeling she was exploited.

In contrast, Sweeney seems fully confident, basking in the golden glow of the shoot. Captured in soft focus, she strategically positioned her arms while sporting a chic curly bob. She has described photographer Tyrone LeBon as “incredible,” sharing her excitement on social media.

This issue features 16 celebrity covers, including big names like George Clooney, A$AP Rocky, and Emma Stone, yet Sweeney stands out as the most unclothed among them.

In her interview, she delved into personal anecdotes, such as her themed birthday party inspired by “Sid’s Planet” and a dress reminiscent of Britney Spears’ 2008 album cover, which made it an unforgettable celebration for her friends.

“We were out of this world. My friends really embraced the theme,” she shared.

She humorously recounted a middle school moment when she opted for wedge-heeled Converse to appear taller: “I liked sneakers, but my legs felt so short.” It seems that particular choice, while bold, didn’t quite work for her.

The recognition for “best performance” comes amid mixed feelings for Sweeney; although critics have lauded her transformation in the boxing film Christie, she was overlooked in the 2026 Golden Globe nominations. On a brighter note, her current film, “The Housemaid,” is performing exceptionally well at the box office, and a sequel is already in the pipeline.
