A Florida woman was reportedly “taken against her will” to Madrid, Spain, where she was living after a bitter divorce from her husband, one of the woman’s friends said. fox news digital.
Ana Maria Knezevic, 40, is originally from Colombia and lives in Fort Lauderdale. She was living in a generally safe apartment complex in Madrid’s Salamanca neighborhood when she mysteriously disappeared on February 2nd.
“Someone took her away against her will. She didn’t leave of her own accord. That’s beside the point,” said Knezevic’s friend Sanna Rameau. According to reports, her friends last heard from her around 10 p.m. that day – an unidentified man wearing a motorcycle helmet spray-painted the apartment’s security camera. That was 30 minutes ago.
new york post report One of the alarming signs leading up to the woman’s disappearance was that she told friends that she had just met a man and felt an “instant” connection to him. But then she received a strangely worded Spanish text message from a Colombian-born woman, and some friends claim they are not sure it was her writing the message.

Knezevic was a real estate agent and apparently ran a technology support company with her estranged husband. After her separation, she began using Bumble in the months leading up to her disappearance.
According to reports, two men with whom Knezevic was speaking on stage were tracked down by Spanish authorities.
The Daily Mail reported that Knezevic and her husband were ready to move on. One of the female friends said she doesn’t know if Ms. Knezevic is using the Bumble app to meet new men or if she’s just using the “BFF” mode to make new friends for her. she said.
“All I know is that the police are in contact with some of the people she was talking to,” Rameau said.
“I met one of them and they said they were not romantically involved, they were just friends.”
“I kept saying I needed to get access to her phone and find out what platforms she was using.”
“We need to look for some clues from there, but we’re not there yet.”
Some have suggested that the woman’s estranged husband may have something to do with her disappearance, but authorities have not been able to establish a connection.
