‘Planet of the Apes’ stars Freya Allen and Owen Teague have admitted they are ‘Team Apes’ and expressed concern about the current state of the planet.
The Associated Press featured a clip from a recent interview in which both stars seemed concerned about the direction the world is heading in regarding war and environmental issues. “I’m totally Team Ape,” Teague said. Allen, his friend and co-star in the film, chimed in and fiercely defended the monkeys. “Listen, I’m obviously a team person when I play May, but I’m a team monkey. Freya’s team monkey.”

When the interviewer asked why Team Ape, Allen continued to express concerns.
“I mean, look at Earth. Oh, let’s go…” she said, seeming to know she was broaching a hot topic.
“Look at what humanity has done to the planet,” Teague said, speaking out in support of Allen’s views on the issue.
Allen went on to express his dismay and distrust of humanity over how humans have dealt with environmental problems.
“Well, I hate humans,” she said.
“You know, I know there are strange things like that. I mean, there are times when I see people gathered together and think, “Oh, isn’t this wonderful?” There is. I absolutely hate us! “
