It seems that mothers have a knack for knowing what’s best.
Another tech executive from San Francisco has turned to social media to find her ideal partner.
Just weeks after Brooke LeBlanc from Corgi stirred up a bit of drama with her extensive list of relationship requirements, another tech figure has joined the fray, and this time, she’s inviting her parents to help her navigate the dating landscape.
Autumn-Kyoko Cushman, a 30-year-old executive, shared updates on her search for love on X, posting a screenshot from her Hinge profile that showed an impressive 577 notifications.
“I made a Hinge profile at 30 and let my parents choose from potential matches,” Cushman mentioned.
One of her posts features a picture of her and her father sifting through her matches together. Cushman also weighed in on the discussion surrounding LeBlanc’s demands, sharing a humorous screenshot where her dad jokingly asked, “Post-economic? Is that a euphemism for a wealthy man?”
Despite the joking, Cushman insists that financial status isn’t a priority for her.
“I don’t care how much money they make, but since I work a lot, it’s important for them to understand my lifestyle,” she explained. “I’m Christian and I want kids. Family is a big deal for me.”
Cushman co-founded ShiftOs, a platform focused on AI-driven workplace management, which was acquired by Trusted Health this past August. Before that, she spent time at IBM and served in the U.S. Navy as a Copsman.
Having been in a long-term relationship, she views her current single status as a fresh start. “I’m looking for my forever person! I just want someone who is kind, intelligent, curious, athletic, and has a good sense of humor,” she shared.
Some commenters posed questions about how she plans to balance work with family, suggesting a potential conflict between her ambitions and her desire for children.
Cushman responded by highlighting the importance of making family a priority while acknowledging that it’s possible to work and still remain involved with kids. “It’s about putting them first, really—like, making a conscious effort to be present during dinners and weekends,” she stated.
Support has poured in from friends and colleagues, with comments praising her dual nature as both compassionate and driven.
“Autumn is one of the kindest and most ambitious people I’ve met. If she’s in your corner, you’ve definitely got an ally for life,” remarked one user.
Another supporter simply added, “She’s gorgeous and sweet—don’t be jerks.”
In contrast to LeBlanc’s lengthy expectations for a partner, which included specific age ranges and traits like being “post-economic” and working in tech, Cushman’s list is considerably shorter and more straightforward.
