'Technology Is Detecting Ghosts Underwater': UFO Tracker Reveals Thousands of Objects Near US Shores

USOs Sighted in U.S. Waters Raise Concerns

Reports of unidentified submersible objects (USOs) around U.S. waterways have surged thanks to a popular UFO reporting app, stirring interest and concern among Navy officials about potential national security risks.

This app, which refers to itself as “the largest queryable historical sightings database of UFO sightings from around the world,” claims to have gathered over 30,000 reports of unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) since its debut in 2022. Interestingly, it doesn’t just focus on aerial phenomena; mysterious objects have also been described emerging from or disappearing into the ocean without visible disturbances.

As of August, there have been more than 9,000 sightings logged within 10 miles of U.S. coastlines, with around 500 occurring within 8 miles. Reports indicate that over 150 of these involve peculiar objects hovering above or entering the water.

Experts are weighing in on these findings. Kent Hecken, an author focused on extraterrestrial topics, mentioned that such underwater sightings challenge our understanding of science. He proposed two possibilities: either we’re encountering something truly unknown or our technology might be misinterpreting natural occurrences.

The states with the highest reports of USOs are California (389 sightings) and Florida (306). One particularly strange case involved an individual capturing a mysterious green light underwater on video.

Retired Navy Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet noted that the lack of significant alarm from the Pentagon regarding unidentified objects entering U.S. waters suggests that information about these phenomena might not be fully revealed. In a March 2024 paper, he cautioned that USOs could have profound implications if they possess the ability to enter water without causing a splash. This idea leaves many questions unanswered about what exactly might be lurking beneath the surface.
