California high school student Jordan Brace took a harsh stance on the state’s progressive approach to education, calling it a “failure.”
Brace explained on “Fox News @ Night” Wednesday that the state ranks 33rd in the nation in math and 38th in reading, which she believes is too low.

“The entire California Department of Education appears to be more focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and its woke ideology than on giving students a proper education,” Brace wrote in an op-ed. ” he wrote.

“I feel like kids my age, and kids across this country, are now being exposed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, not conservative values and things to learn.” she explained to host Trace Gallagher. “Instead of focusing on DEI and the things that are being used to divide us, we should focus more on educating our students and making sure they have the skills and tools they need to have a successful future.” You need to be able to wear it.”

Mr Brace then extended his advocacy to the entire Department for Education, saying it was “hugely important” for young people to look to their parents for role models and direction.
“Honestly, I think this school system is failing not only the students but also the parents. “I’m talking about parents who don’t allow their children to change their gender, which is called domestic terrorism, and I think that’s just ridiculous,” she explained.
Simonian agreed, stressing the importance of instilling values at home so that children are well prepared to enter the workforce as adults.
“It’s our job to educate and inform the people of this country,” Simonian said. “And our school system is the only school system, not just in California, but nationwide, that actively teaches our children to hate this country and divide us based on our differences. This is a shame. It’s the right thing to do.”
