Tesla superchargers set on fire in Massachusetts, suspect on the loose

Several agencies in Massachusetts are looking for someone who burned a group of Tesla's Superchargers.

The suspicious arson took place just after 1am Monday. According to a press release, Littleton Police and the Fire Station were called to a Constitutional Point Shopping Center “to report a fire at the Tesla Charging Station.”

When firefighters arrived, they found that multiple Tesla superchargers were “enveloped in flames and heavy, dark smoke.” A total of seven chargers were damaged, police said.

Littleton Electric Light & Water Department has been notified to the state police fire investigators under the state fire service after the device was powered off and the fire went out.
