Tesla vehicles, charging stations targeted as protesters denounce DOGE, Elon Musk

Tesla's car owners, dealers and charging stations are being targeted nationwide in protest of the involvement of electric car maker Elon Musk and the Trump administration's government efficiency (DOGE), which aims to reduce wasteful spending and fraud within the federal government.

A Tesla, Oregon dealer, located 10 miles south of Portland, targeted gunshots on Thursday, damaging multiple vehicles and shattering windows, the Associated Press reported.

A man was arrested earlier this month after a Molotov cocktail was thrown at a Tesla dealer in Salem, Oregon, after which he was arrested, Salem Politicians and Journal reported.

Several Tesla charging stations have flammed up in Massachusetts.

When firefighters arrived, multiple superchargers were “enveiled in flames and heavy smoke,” according to Littleton police. Over half a dozen of the chargers have been damaged.

Brookline police recently arrested a Boston man who was tagged with a mask decal on a Tesla vehicle and was caught on video allegedly sharing footage on X.

Police said that when he was confronted, he cited “free speech” and said he had the right to taint other people's property.

“We want to talk to the suspect, so we want to be able to educate him about the difference between 'free speech' and destroying property belonging to others,” police wrote in a Facebook post before their arrest.

Last week, the US Lawyer's Office in Colorado charged Lucy Grace Nelson, 42, also known as Justin Thomas Nelson.

Nelson was charged with one of the following charges: malicious destruction of property, the use of explosives or burnt Cen devices, felony mischief, and attempted criminal. Loveland Police Station.

The event comes amid a series of obvious protests against Musk and Kuji.

Indivisible, an organization founded by former Democratic Congress staff, previously urged liberals to protest Musk's actions and offered them a “toolkit” on how to “fight against Elon.”

Manual details are instructions for planning and carrying out demonstrations at Tesla dealers, showrooms, and factories.

In an interview with Fox News host Jesse Watters and R-Fla's Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, she expressed concern over the lawmakers' rhetoric regarding Musk.

“People say Elon Musk is attacking him and attacking him and they know that in fact it's good for their vote count,” Luna said. “So they're going to keep doing that.”

She also noted Musk's comments while talking with podcaster Joe Rogan about the increased threats in his life.
