A father of three was shot and killed on his way home from work installing Christmas lights at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.
According to the Houston Police Department, detectives were dispatched to a vehicle accident on a busy interstate on Dec. 2 at approximately 10:30 p.m.
Authorities found the driver, 37, in critical condition at the scene. Police said he was shot “at least once.”
“We're all in shock. It was a tough situation. There was only one gunshot. There were no holes in the truck, no windows were popped out. Just one shot,” said his wife, Brittany. Ray said. KHOU11.

Shorofsky was transported by the Houston Fire Department to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on November 4.
The 37-year-old was the father of three children, ages 9, 11 and 14.

His obituary described him as a family man and hard worker.
“Robbie loved spending time with his family and creating lasting memories. If he wasn't working, he might be found fishing at a local pond to take his mind off things.” It is stated in the article. “My memories of hiking, biking and traveling with my kids will stay with me forever. He was a hard worker and took pride in being able to fix anything, including his white Chevrolet truck.”
“He was focused on keeping Brittany happy and even went on a roller coaster ride with her, even though she hated roller coasters,” it reads. “Robbie loved with all his heart and enjoyed helping those around him in any way he could.”

Police said there were no witnesses or suspects.
