A Texas middle school student violently threw a teacher against a wall on Monday after he attacked a classmate in front of a distraught student body.
The teacher tried to break up a fight during an “isolated incident” between classmates at Herschel Antwine Middle School in El Paso.
One student threw several punches at a classmate and grabbed the teacher, who then stepped in between the students, threw her away, and threw several more punches.
While the teacher stood up and stopped the child from getting into the fight, a third student began punching the assailant.
“Hello, this is Patricia Fernandez, principal of Herschel Antwine Middle School. I am calling you because of an altercation between students in a classroom on campus today,” the message to parents and guardians said. Obtained via KVIA read.
“This was an isolated incident between students. The student involved is being dealt with appropriately by school authorities and police. There was no threat to other students or campus. We thank Herschel Antwine Middle School and Team SISD for their continued trust and support.”
Last month, a North Carolina high school student was seen slapping a teacher twice in the face during an expletive-hurling tantrum in class.
The angry girl, identified only as a minor, confronted a teacher inside Parkland High School in Winston-Salem, and the teacher violently attacked her, according to the video. Posted on social media.
He was charged with one count of communicating threats and two counts of misdemeanor assault. This was announced by the Forsyth Sheriff’s Office.
