Several students at a Texas middle school were taken to the hospital Tuesday after eating gummy bears laced with THC.
FOX 26 in Houston reports that seven students at Keefer Crossing Middle School on Gene Campbell Boulevard went to the health room after reportedly eating gummies containing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
School officials reported the incident and several ambulances were dispatched, transporting seven students to Texas Children’s Woodlands and Kingwood Hospital. The students’ conditions are currently stable.

Keefer Crossing Middle School is part of the New Caney Independent School District and is located approximately 30 miles from downtown Houston.
School district officials did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s inquiries about the student’s hospitalization.

In a statement obtained by the department, school district officials confirmed that seven students were taken to the hospital Tuesday afternoon after ingesting gummies that tested positive for THC.
The statement said the gummies were brought to school by a student and all parents of the students involved have been notified.

“Student safety is a top priority for New Caney ISD,” district officials said. “As this is an ongoing investigation by the New Caney ISD Police Department, the district cannot comment further.”
