Texas Governor Greg Abbott has announced the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Law Enforcement Agency (HSI) as the Department of Public Safety's Troopers and special agents committed an immigrant raid on the Colony Ridge Subdivision near Houston. We announced that we have supported it. Abbott announced the action in a social media post about X early Monday afternoon.
“Colony Ridge is being targeted today. Texas DPS Troopers & Special Agents are running their operations at Colony Ridge this morning to support their homeland security investigation,” Gov. Abbott said. “They target criminals and illegal immigrants. I've been working with Tom Homan for months on this.”
Colony Ridge is a residential development of over 30,000 acres located less than 40 miles north of Houston. Located in East Texas' Liberty County, the plot combines many media stories that link the neighborhood with a critical population of immigrants who are illegally placed, and the developer's suspicious land sales tactics targeted primarily Hispanic consumers. It is eligible.
The region has been frequently attracting attention for criminal activity related to immigration that is illegally present in the United States. As reported by Breitbart Texas, three previously deported illegal aliens were arrested in mid-February for a targeted traffic stop that led to the seizure of nearly 350 pounds of methamphetamine. A multi-agency law enforcement task force from Liberty County developed information from three previously deported migrants who led to the discovery of methamphetamine in a trailer in Colony Ridge after the vehicle was stopped.
Texas lawmakers have allocated $40 million in 2023, adding a Texas Department of Public Safety's Department of Public Safety patrol to the Colony Ridge area, in response to concerns about local illegal activities. December 2023, US Department of Justice I sued Colony Ridge to operate an illegal land sales scheme targeting tens of thousands of Hispanic borrowers who have made false statements and predatory loans.
No information was provided regarding the outcome of Monday's immigration attack within Colony Ridge. At the time of reporting, ICE had not received a request for information regarding the outcome of the operation.
