In certain American cities like Portland and Chicago, the situation has become quite alarming, almost resembling occupied zones. Local governments have seemingly surrendered control to street militias, leaving civilians, journalists, and even federal workers vulnerable against acts of violence from anarchists.
Take Portland as a case in point. Antifa has, it seems, created havoc for over 100 consecutive nights. Federal agents attempting to restore order find themselves under attack nightly, while local officials remain inactive. Journalists, such as Nick Souter, have faced arrest merely for documenting the unrest. Souter and another reporter later provided testimony about the Antifa violence at the White House, but their accounts went largely unreported by mainstream media.
One doesn’t need to look far to see that Antifa is well-organized, funded, and, frankly, empowered.
Chicago finds itself in a troublingly similar predicament. Federal employees, trapped amidst aggressive mobs, reported being stalked and ambushed, and were denied backup from local law enforcement. Their desperate calls for help fell on deaf ears, putting their lives at considerable risk. This situation surpasses mere anarchy; it blatantly undermines federal authority and threatens the very tenets of the Constitution.
history of violence
For years, mainstream media and some left-leaning think tanks have mischaracterized Antifa as “decentralized” and “leaderless.” In reality, the opposite is true. Antifa is organized, disciplined, and well-funded, with recognized groups operating as coordinated street militias. Legal entities like the National Lawyers Guild offer them protection, while crowdfunding and international supporters finance their operations.
The argument that Antifa lacks any real structure is a dangerous myth that impacts the safety of American citizens.
History serves as a grim reminder of what can happen when mobs are allowed to roam free. From the French Revolution to the chaos in Weimar Germany and Mao Zedong’s Red Guards, such movements often start with disorder in the streets. It seems there’s a strategy at play here: today’s radicals are exploiting chaos, intimidating their opponents, and claiming a sort of moral authority while state institutions stand idle.
dismantle the dragon
The Trump administration’s move to label Antifa a domestic terrorist organization was long overdue. This designation finally recognized a reality that many citizens had already perceived: Antifa operates as an armed faction, actively recruiting and inciting violence among youth across the nation.
But merely identifying the threat isn’t enough. Those who fund, organize, and facilitate this movement must also be held accountable. Every dollar that supports Antifa’s violent actions should be tracked down, seized, and revealed.
This issue goes beyond partisan politics; it’s not merely about left versus right. It’s fundamentally about the struggle between civilization and anarchy. When politicians and judicial figures turn a blind eye to mob-related violence, they jeopardize the very fabric of our republic. Americans must not be silent or cowed while these street militias operate unchecked.
Antifa is indeed organized, funded, and emboldened. The violence witnessed in cities like Portland and Chicago is calculated, not random. If America fails to address this situation decisively, the repercussions will extend far beyond the destruction of urban areas; they may also threaten the essence of the republic itself.
