The left's response to Charlie Kirk's killing is appalling.

Many conservatives regard Charlie Kirk as a standout figure—honest, kind, diligent, a devoted family man, and a truth-seeker. His recent assassination at the age of 31 has elicited deep sorrow from his supporters.

However, on the other side, some individuals on the left have used this tragic event to spread animosity, and distressing messages are rampant across social media.

The situation has escalated to the point where even prominent Democrats, who have themselves propagated disparaging rhetoric, are calling for unity among voters.

One noted politician stated, “Now is the time for all Americans to unite, feel the weight of this incident, and mourn. Violence affects a broad spectrum of people across various political ideologies. America is in pain, and it’s essential that we come together without assigning blame.”

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer echoed these sentiments, joined by Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, who emphasized the need for leadership that unites rather than divides: “Political violence against any American is intolerable, and it requires collective condemnation from all.” He further remarked, “We must stand together, not as Democrats or Republicans, but as Americans.”

On this note, Sarah Gonzalez from Blazetv expressed skepticism about the sincerity of such calls for unity. “It’s a bit too convenient, don’t you think? These leaders suddenly want to rally everyone right now?”

Matthew Marsden, another contributor, criticized this response, suggesting it feels more like gaslighting. He pointed out the controversial discussion surrounding gun control—claiming that Republicans are often labeled as more violent while bringing gun control into the conversation.

He concluded by stating, “All the misinformation spread by mainstream media is being echoed by others.”
