If you thought society was safe from the likes of Jussie Smollett, you'd be wrong. Because there is more than one of him.
And Jason Whitlock says one of those Smollett clones is ESPN host Ryan Clark.
“When everyone was doing the George Floyd gimmick, their Jussie Smollett gimmick, Ryan Clark went on TV and did this very horrifying comic about the racism that his son experienced. I can't think of a name for this black host who helped tell the story. Ryan Clark started crying on TV,” Whitlock says.
According to Clark's son, he and several of his college football teammates went to Whataburger during the lockdown when only the drive-thru was open. The boys didn't have a car, so they asked a woman going through the drive-thru if she would order food for them and pay her in turn.

Clark's son claimed that the woman complained to the manager about their harassment, and that he made her meal. When it was over, she allegedly turned to them and yelled, “Thank you for the free food, n*****s.” He said she said the slur again and the manager told them they were wrong.
“Now this is a white woman who, according to the story, appears to be in a car by herself, and there are three college football players, an adult, and an athletic-looking man. This woman in Arizona yells N. I just want to – tell them without being provoked?'' asks Whitlock.
“She's just looking for trouble with three big, athletic young black men,” Whitlock continues. “Do you think this story makes sense? And did the manager they're implying overhear all of this and have a taste for racist white women?”
Regardless of whether the story is true or not, Whitlock sees the story and Clark's dramatic reaction on television as symptoms of a larger problem.
“This is the delusion we live in. This is a reflection of a patriarchal culture, and this is Ryan Clark, who played fighting, predatory sports, and soccer. You don’t realize you’re developing it and you live in a fantasy world,” says Whitlock.
“This is how lace clowns are made. This is dance and ritual. This is what Ryan Clark has to do to get that paycheck from people who want to focus on the conflict between blacks and whites,” he said. I'll add.
