It was only a matter of time before President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race, and some mainstream commentators had a clear idea of what was coming.
And they weren’t happy about that.
“The whole thing is just so depressing,” Joy Behar of “The View” said, eyes going blank. “I think he’s off the show. That’s how I feel.”
“I don’t have any information, but Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, Jeffries have all joined in and are saying it’s time to step down,” she continued. “In some ways, COVID-19 is a good opportunity for him to step down because he needs this time to show how strong he is, and he’s sick, and there’s very, very little time left.”
“So, I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable for them to say, ‘Joe, look, we can’t do this,'” she added.
“We have to save our country,” Behar concluded.
Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report can’t help but find this all a bit amusing.
“I think Joy’s going to need a little bit of Klonopin. Will that help with the depression? I’m not sure,” he jokes.
“I take no pleasure in anyone else’s downfall or anything like that, but again, you all deserve this,” he added.
