The President Has Gained Some Trust on This Matter

Vance Comments on Trump’s Stance on Iran

Vice President JD Vance stated on Tuesday that President Donald Trump “trusts” the situation regarding Iran’s uranium enrichment, emphasizing that any deployment of US troops will prioritize American interests.

Vance, who is experienced in dealing with foreign policy matters, mentioned that Trump is aware of the various narratives circulating on social media about Iran, especially as he prepares to make announcements concerning US involvement.

He highlighted Trump’s consistent position for over a decade that Iran must not develop nuclear weapons. Recently, Trump has engaged foreign policy teams to formalize agreements aimed at preventing this outcome.

For years, Trump has maintained that Iran cannot possess nuclear arms. He has been active in urging agreements to ensure this, making it clear that any uranium enrichment by Iran is unacceptable. He often points out that this situation can evolve in one of two ways—either simply or through more complex means.

In a past tweet from 2011, Trump reiterated that the US “cannot allow Iran to become the nuke,” emphasizing his long-standing stance on the matter.

Vance, echoing Trump’s sentiments, differentiated between civilian nuclear programs and uranium enrichment, noting that Iran has surpassed the enrichment levels necessary for civilian usage.

There’s been considerable misunderstanding surrounding the notions of civil nuclear energy and uranium enrichment. Iran can pursue civil nuclear energy without enrichment; however, they have chosen not to. They are currently enriching uranium far beyond what would be needed for civilian purposes, which is against the International Atomic Energy Agency’s non-proliferation guidelines.

Having the ability to generate civilian nuclear energy is one thing; requiring advanced enrichment capabilities is another. By sticking with enrichment, they violate fundamental non-proliferation commitments.

Honestly, I haven’t encountered any solid justification for why Iran needs to enrich uranium well past what is typical for civilian use or why they feel justified in breaching these agreements.

Vance suggested that Trump might consider measures to halt Iran’s enrichment, expressing that he senses growing confidence regarding this issue.

It’s worth noting that the President exhibits considerable restraint in maintaining military focus on protecting both our personnel and civilians. He may decide further actions are necessary against Iran’s enrichment efforts. Ultimately, it’s his decision, and understandably, there are concerns about getting entangled in foreign conflicts given the past 25 years.

I believe the President has developed a level of trust on this issue. Having seen it unfold firsthand, we can assure him that his primary aim is to utilize the US military to serve American interests—whatever he chooses to do, that remains the focus.

Following Vance’s comments, Trump remarked about having “complete control of the skies over Iran,” claiming knowledge of Khamenei’s location.

“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Super Leader’ is hiding. He’s an easy target, but for now, he’s safe. I won’t take him out just yet,” Trump stated.

In a follow-up post, he declared, “Unconditional surrender!” reinforcing his previous assertions.
