Over the past few weeks, groups of large drones have been seen flying around the Raritan River near north-central New Jersey. These alleged sightings have raised concerns because of the location's proximity to President-elect Donald Trump's Bedminster golf course and the Picatinny Arsenal, a U.S. military research and manufacturing facility.
According to reports, these drones have been appearing since mid-November, typically returning daily and flying in formation. In response, the FAA issued temporary flight restrictions over Bedminster Golf Course and Picatinny Arsenal.
The FBI is also investigating.
However, the involvement of the FBI and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas glenn beck You'll feel better.
“Anyone have any thoughts? [Mayorkas] Is there any credibility? He's like, 'Well, I don't know what's going on,'” he said, noting that Mayorkas also didn't know what was going on at the border.
The FBI and New Jersey law enforcement agencies issued similar statements, claiming they don't know where these drones came from or what their purpose is.
But Glenn has a few theories.
“They are doing police work, so this could very well be surveillance on average Americans. [or] It could be our government doing it,” he says, adding that the sheer size of these drones (some reportedly as large as cars) means they're probably owned by hobbyists. point out that it is not.
“I think this is probably our government. Next most likely, this is a Chinese balloon,” he says. “These Chinese military drones in these huge fields, thousands of them flying in formation… God forbid we get into World War III. Our aircraft carriers will be the horses of World War I.”
Co-host Stu BruguiereHowever, he believes that military personnel or even government officials are not needed to carry out a drone attack.
“I think a lot of normal people could put it together without much effort,” he said, calling the prospect “scary.”
Glenn then recalls an equally horrifying memory of a man demonstrating that drones would become the next weapon of war.
