‘There Will Be Hell to Pay’ for Democrats at the Ballot Box in the Next Cycle

Former U.S. Sen. Scott Brown (R-Mass.) said on his show that Democrats “will pay a hell of a price” at the polls next time they continue to delay securing President Donald Trump's nomination. told inside. Breitbart News Saturday.

Brown, who is considering a challenge to Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), spoke of Senate Democrats' slowdown in confirming Trump Cabinet members, saying, “We need to speed things up.'' There's no doubt about it,” he said. ”

“And he has a right to it. It's an obligation, and he has to pay for it at the ballot box next cycle,” he said.

Brown, a former US ambassador to New Zealand, pointed out that Democrats were also trying to play this game for the first time.

“There were some ambassadors who weren't approved yet. I think the Bahamas was one of them. And now he has that authority and he's just destroying the Bahamas. They're apoplectic.” Brown said of the Senate Democrats tasked with approving President Trump's nominees.

“They don't want to give an inch. That's the only thing they have. And if they think this sabotage is going to work for the American people, I think they're completely “I believe it is wrong,” he continued.
