‘These Evil Freaks’: NFL Blasted By Furious Fans After League Plays ‘Black National Anthem’ Prior To Super Bowl

Now that the season’s over, can we finally get rid of Roger Goodell?

A lot of fans were angry with what they saw as they were watching Super Bowl LIX. However, the moment wasn’t involved with the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

Rather, it was connected to the national anthem. In particular, “The Black National Anthem” which has the song name “Lift Every Voice And Sing.” A lot of Americans make the claim that the wannabe anthem is divisive, and considering it’s just meant for black people and black people only, and they’re right. We could have one song — ya know, “THE-STAR SPANGLED BANNER” — to unify all of us Americans. But nope, the NFL themselves prefer to fuel divisiveness, and that’s exactly what they did.

Some singer I’ve never heard of before named Ledisi sang the “anthem” while being backed up by a choir.
