Now that the season’s over, can we finally get rid of Roger Goodell?
A lot of fans were angry with what they saw as they were watching Super Bowl LIX. However, the moment wasn’t involved with the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.
Rather, it was connected to the national anthem. In particular, “The Black National Anthem” which has the song name “Lift Every Voice And Sing.” A lot of Americans make the claim that the wannabe anthem is divisive, and considering it’s just meant for black people and black people only, and they’re right. We could have one song — ya know, “THE-STAR SPANGLED BANNER” — to unify all of us Americans. But nope, the NFL themselves prefer to fuel divisiveness, and that’s exactly what they did.
Some singer I’ve never heard of before named Ledisi sang the “anthem” while being backed up by a choir.

And Americans, well, they weren’t feeling it at all.
If we’re having an all black choir sing the “Black National Anthem”, we’re going to have an all white “Star Spangled Banner”, right? Seems fair to me. That’s what they’re insinuating anyway.

They are now singing the “Black National Anthem” at the Super Bowl.
These evil freaks are so desperate to bring back segregation.
There’s only ONE anthem, and it’s not whatever the heck this is. pic.twitter.com/uFMTFplrO0

In 41 days, I will have been “black” for 64 years.
Never needed my own SEPARATE national anthem though.
Why not?
Because I’m AMERICAN first and only.
Black is NOT my national identity.
It’s just the color of my skin, and the race on my state ID.
But my HEART is RED, WHITE,… pic.twitter.com/HhAzZGakDT

Hey @NFL, remove the so-called “Black National Anthem.” America already has a National Anthem. We don’t need or want one specific to a group of people. That only encourages division.

It’s time for you to go, Roger. We don’t like you or your anti-American nonsense.
