Homeland Security Secretary Christa Noem said Monday that the agency identified some of the individuals suspected of obstructing the migrant and customs enforcement attacks by leaking information about the planned operation.
Earlier this month, border area Tom Homan revealed that the leakage had undermined an ice attack in Aurora, Colorado. Ice targeted more than 100 illegal aliens, mostly members of the Tren de Aragua gang, but the agents had just 30 TDA members.
“President Trump and Secretary Noem have sent a clear message to illegal aliens.”
Noem reflected Homan's claims, saying there is reason to suspect that “corrupted” FBI agents illegally shared information about the planned assault.
Attorney General Pam Bondy warned that there will be consequences for those who leak such sensitive information “which puts our great men and women at risk in law enforcement.”
Earlier this month, Homan pointed out that the office of Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove believes it has identified the cause of the leak.
Noem appeared on Monday evening. confirm development.

She vowed to indict people who leaked sensitive information and broke the law.
Noem did not clarify whether the identified individual is in the FBI.

DHS stated: “President Trump and Secretary Noem have sent a clear message to illegal aliens. Don't come to our country. You will not be allowed. And once you enter, we will chase you down. I will expel you.”
