Apple Bank Expands to Staten Island

Staten Island, New York – Apple Bank has recently opened its second branch on Staten Island, located at 2626 Hylan Blvd in the Boulevard Shopping Center. The branch started serving customers on July 21st.

This new branch highlights Apple Bank’s ongoing commitment to investing in local communities, aiming to support the residents and businesses of Staten Island as they continue to grow in the New York area.

Regina Scire, who has been part of Apple Bank since 2018 and previously managed the Springville branch on Staten Island, is the vice president and branch manager at this new location. With 38 years of banking experience, her background includes stints at Chase, Capital One, Investors Bank, and UBS/Painewebber.

Scire expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “We are extremely excited to lead Apple Bank’s expansion efforts on Staten Island. My team and I look forward to serving the communities we support and many great organizations.”

The branch aims to offer convenient banking options to the residents and businesses in Staten Island’s “Eastern Shore” and the southern regions. Services will include consumer, commercial, and small business banking, along with access to some non-deposit investment products.

Mitch Jacobs, executive vice president and corporate real estate director at Apple Bank, noted that the facility features environmentally friendly materials and a “digital forward banking environment.”

Established in 1863, Apple Bank stands as the largest national savings bank in New York, boasting $17.5 billion in assets and $14.5 billion in deposits as of December 31, 2024.
