Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley signed a big contract with the team in the offseason and may have been considered the missing piece to take the passing game to the next level.
Ridley started the season by scoring a total of 13 goals in the first two games. On Sunday, Ridley's frustration seemed to reach a new point as he allowed eight baskets, including just three in the first half, as Tennessee lost 20-17 to the Indianapolis Colts. He had no clue.

Ridley suggested he didn't feel called upon enough early in the game, as most of his goals came in the second half.
“Well, we need something at the beginning of the game,” Ridley said. AtoZ Sports Nashville. “S— is going crazy for me. That's the way it is. Today was bad. We've got to be better, but if we don't get the ball a little bit earlier in the game — I’m going to go out there and be with the team, so I’m going to play well as well.”
Ridley has only had two catches on six targets in the past two games. The Titans had a week to go before playing the Colts.

“It’s frustrating,” he added. “The last few weeks have been frustrating. We have to be better.”
Ridley signed a four-year, $92 million contract in the offseason after making a comeback with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2023.
He had 76 catches for 1,016 yards and eight touchdowns with the Jaguars. It was the second time in his career that he surpassed 1,000 yards receiving.
