Dallas Mavericks But before the game began, the Celtics released a promotional video with a message warning Mavericks fans that their hopes of facing Boston might not pan out as well as they dreamed.
Narrated by Tom Brady.
The video begins with fans of the opposing team chanting “We want Boston” ahead of a series against the Celtics. This includes fans of the Miami Heat, Indiana Pacers, and others. Cleveland Cavaliers Fans, and Dallas Mavericks FansYou see, it was a bad run for Miami, Cleveland and Indiana. The Celtics beat the Heat 4-1 in the opener and then beat Cleveland 4-1.
Boston then swept the Pacers to advance to the NBA Finals.
“Really? You want to go to Boston? Let me tell you, that’s a bad idea,” Brady says in the video. [Heat] “The culture? The history. Cleveland? Done. … Indianapolis? Done. But us? We’re still here. For now, I’d be happy with anywhere but Boston.”
This video includes: New York Knicksshows footage of Knicks fans chanting “We want Boston” before flashing a glimpse of Madison Square Garden and the former quarterback joking, “Oh, wait, wrong team.”
