Tom Lee Predicts the End of the Crypto Winter This Month, Believes Bitcoin and Ethereum Could Stabilize at These Levels

End of Crypto Winter Almost Here, Says BitMine Chair

BitMine Immersion Technologies Inc. Chair Tom Lee expressed optimism on Saturday about the “crypto winter” drawing to a close. He noted that both Bitcoin and Ethereum are hovering at low prices, which might indicate a potential turnaround.

In a recent interview, Lee mentioned insights from BitMine advisors, suggesting that Bitcoin could find support at around $60,000, while Ethereum may bottom out near $1,890. It’s a bit precarious—there’s a possibility we might dip below that support, which could signal the true bottom. This gives a sense of how close we might be to the end of this downturn.

Lee went further to say that if we haven’t reached the peak of this crypto winter yet, it might very well wrap up by April. During various discussions, he reflected on the extended period of market struggle, pointing out that prices for major cryptocurrencies have recently hit multi-month lows. For instance, Bitcoin has plummeted nearly 45% from its all-time highs last October.

Interestingly, last week, Fidelity’s Julian Timmer also highlighted that $60,000 is seen as a crucial cycle bottom for Bitcoin. Many prominent crypto traders seem to believe that a swift V-shaped recovery is unlikely; instead, they’re anticipating a gradual and difficult rebound.

Lee’s predictions come after a challenging year for crypto enthusiasts, where uncertainty and fluctuating prices have led to mixed feelings in the community. Back in January, he had forecasted a 10% to 15% decline due to potential policy risks posed by the White House and the Federal Reserve.

While Fundstrat received some criticism for inconsistent Bitcoin predictions last year, they are now forecasting that Bitcoin could rebound to the $60,000 to $65,000 range in early 2026. Lee, however, remains less conservative, suggesting potential all-time highs by then.

As the market evolves, traders and investors alike are left to ponder the future of cryptocurrencies, keeping an eye on external factors and market sentiment.
