The immigrant trans woman federal immigration officials wanted, is said to have chased and raped a boy this week in Manhattan.
Nicole Suarez reportedly attacked the 14-year-old in the bathroom at Thomas Jefferson Park in East Harlem on Tuesday, police and sources said.
The boy then left the bathroom and flagged the witness who warned police, sources said.
Suarez, 30, from Colombia, was arrested near the next day and charged with first-degree rape.
Suarez was wanted in New Jersey and Massachusetts at the time, and U.S. immigration and customs enforcement agencies had detained her, law enforcement said.
The nature of out-of-state fees was not immediately available.
Ice Detainer is about requesting law enforcement to retain individuals, allowing them to gain federal custody.
The incident shows why cities should end their sanctuary city status for dangerous criminals, sources said.
“Donald Trump and [border czar] Tom Homan is right that we need to take violent people out of New York City and Eric Adams. Letitia James and Kathy Hochul should all work together as this person has an ice detainee,” the source said.

“The ice was able to pick up this guy and force them back,” the source said. “But by our sanctuary law, we cannot do anything.”
Prosecutors initially sought $500,000 bail and $1.5 million in bonds for Suarez, law enforcement said.
But Judge Elizabeth Shamas, who became judge in January after being elected on a Democrat ticket, reduced the amount to $100,000 bail or $250,000 bond, online court records show.
“I feel really bad for a child who has to go through this because his life is never the same,” the source said. “We're worried about immigration, but what about the victims? This is a real victim.”
Suarez was being held on Rikers Island, an online record showed Saturday.
