Transgender model Alex Consani, assigned male at birth, graced the runway at the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Wednesday, sporting a striking red bra.
“Every time I step out with you guys, it feels surreal! I couldn’t ask for a better fantasy! Sending love to everyone who made this happen!” she enthusiastically shared in an Instagram post on Thursday, along with photos showcasing various outfits from the event.
The model flaunted a red bra paired with loose pants and eye-catching deep red metallic wings during her catwalk appearance.
Consani, who rose to fame on TikTok, made her debut at Victoria’s Secret last year. She signed with IMG Models in 2019 and also walked for Tom Ford in 2021.
In a significant milestone, she was the first transgender nominee to win Model of the Year at the 2024 Fashion Awards in London. That honor is determined through both an industry panel and a public vote.
Award contenders are typically brands that have had substantial influence in their field over the previous year.
In 2023, black transgender model Kai-Isiah Jamal was among the nominees, but the award ultimately went to plus-size model Paloma Elsesser.
Just last month, before this year’s show, Consani teased her followers on Instagram with behind-the-scenes images from a Victoria’s Secret photoshoot, expressing her excitement: “@victoriassecret I can’t stop smiling! I’m so happy to have had the opportunity to shoot with the worst group of girls and the best team! I’m so, so grateful!”
The model also acknowledged Victoria’s Secret’s executive creative director, Adam Selman, adding a personal note: “All about you.”
At the end of her photo series, Consani shared a pic of a “tuck kit,” a product for individuals assigned male at birth that allows for a flatter appearance under clothing.
