Trump administration pushes Harvard to release antisemitism report

The Trump administration has once again directed Harvard University to submit its expected report on anti-Semitism concerns at elite institutions.

Larry Summers, former president of Harvard, I told the Free Press He didn’t understand the delay from his alma mater.

“It’s confusing why it took me over 18 months to complete and release the report,” Summers said. “As long as America takes it to win World War II, we’re close to half.”

In a letter sent by the US Department of Health and Human Services’ Civil Rights Office, Harvard was instructed to send reports from Harvard’s anti-Semitism task force to the government.

The request for Harvard to file its report comes amidst Congress pressure on the university’s use of taxpayer funds. The House Committee on Surveillance and Government Reform is currently investigating how Harvard University uses taxpayer money as it faces scrutiny on civil rights issues like anti-Semitism.

“I certainly haven’t been mild about Harvard and anti-Semitism, but I have found no credible evidence that the decline in the proportion of Jews in Harvard student groups stems from anti-Semitic discrimination,” Summers said when he faced the free press on the effects of anti-Semitism concerns on the decline of Jewish student groups.

“In fact, it was an arithmetic result of my priorities and development that led to more students from more African Americans, Hispanics, Asians and disadvantaged backgrounds, with more foreign students hospitalised at Harvard,” he said.
