Trump’s Campaign Rally in Florida
In a vibrant gathering, President Trump delivered a campaign speech in a Florida village on Friday, greeted like a hero by the crowd.
Prior to entering the crowded gymnasium, he made an unexpected stop in an overflow room filled with eager supporters who were thrilled to see him.
Signs proclaiming “No Taxes on Social Security” were prevalent among the audience, who frequently chanted “USA!” as Trump took the stage, accompanied by Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA.”
At the recent White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Trump remarked that he should be in a “secure facility” due to a third assassination attempt in two years, yet he highlighted the safety of the village, noting the substantial turnout for 2024.
Holding a sign that read “Make the Golden Age a Golden Age,” he praised tax credits from the One Big Beautiful Act, including deductions for tips, overtime pay, and Social Security for specific seniors.
The crowd reacted enthusiastically, particularly responding to the proposed Social Security deduction.
Trump stated, “Our Great Big Beautiful Act is the largest tax cut in American history, which means over 51 million seniors now pay no federal taxes.”
Dr. Phil McGraw made an appearance alongside Trump, underscoring that Americans should not face taxes on their benefits. He added that the agreement made by the government with citizens, which was in place from 1935 to 1983, has been altered.
According to him, Trump is striving to restore that trust and ensure the government upholds its end of the bargain.
The President also commended Vice President J.D. Vance for his leadership of the Task Force to Combat Fraud.
Trump emphasized efforts to combat fraud in Medicaid and Medicare, mentioning extensive operations in places like Minnesota and California, highlighting the severity of the issue.
He praised Vice President Vance’s efforts, affirming, “He’s doing a great job.” Trump also distanced himself from Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota), associating her with the fraud issues prevalent in Minnesota.
During his comments, Trump asserted, “She’s here from Somalia and she’s going to teach us how to run America?” He expressed disdain, calling her out as “sneaky.”
Additionally, Trump accused California’s Gov. Gavin Newsom of misconduct, promising that significant developments will emerge in California following the task force’s focus since March.
He remarked, “Wait until you see what we come up with in California. Gavin Newsom is not good.”
