Trump attributes the Dallas ICE shooting to the rhetoric of 'Radical Left Democrats'

Trump Denounces “Radical Left” Following Dallas Shooting

President Trump spoke out against the rhetoric of the “radical left Democrats” after a shooting incident at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Dallas on Wednesday morning.

He stated, “It’s evident that a disturbed shooter marked ‘anti-ice’ on his shell casing. This is utterly despicable!” His comments were made through a post where he further expressed his views on societal issues.

Trump attributed the rising violence to what he termed the “contrant demons” of radical left Democrats, who, according to him, label law enforcement and ICE officers as “Nazis.”

Details About the Shooting Incident

  • On September 24, a gunman named Joshua Yahn, aged 29, opened fire at a detention center in Dallas.
  • It’s reported that during a transfer of detainees, the facility’s portcullis was reportedly raised.
  • One person has died, and two others sustained injuries. Yahn was later found deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on a nearby rooftop.
  • The FBI indicated that Yahn had written “anti-ice” on a bullet casing found at the scene.
  • Special agents from the FBI’s Dallas Field Office are investigating the shooting as a “targeted act of violence.”

Trump emphasized that the ongoing violence from what he described as radical left terrorists needs to come to an end. He mentioned that ICE officers and other law enforcement personnel are in serious danger.

The 79-year-old president, who recently labeled Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization, called for the Democratic Party to stop their rhetoric against ICE and law enforcement. “Our administration is dedicated to backing law enforcement, ensuring strong borders, and deporting violent illegal immigrants,” he stated.

Authorities confirmed that the shooting left one detainee dead, while law enforcement personnel were unharmed. Police indicated that Joshua Yahn fired from the rooftop at an unmarked van carrying immigrants to a short-term ICE facility. The message found on the shell casing is considered significant in the ongoing investigation.
