Ali Abbasi, director of the President Trump biopic “The Apprentice,” went on a vulgar social media rant on Monday, expressing frustration that his film has so far failed to find a distributor.
Reacting to Hollywood’s recent box office slump, Ali Abbasi angrily wrote: apprentice“This is neither a sequel nor a remake,” he said.
He added: “For some reason, the powers that be [sic] Your country people don’t want you to see that!!!”

As Breitbart News reported, apprentice The film left this year’s Cannes Film Festival empty-handed without a U.S. distribution deal after former President Donald Trump threatened lawsuits and injunctions against the filmmakers.
Furthermore, the film failed to win any awards at Cannes.

“We will be filing lawsuits to address the demonstrably false claims made by the makers of this fake film,” Trump campaign spokesman Steven Chang said in a statement. “This garbage is a complete fabrication that sensationalizes lies that were long ago debunked.”
He also called the film a “malicious libel.”
Trump’s lawyers also sent cease-and-desist letters to director Ali Abbasi and screenwriter Gabriel Sherman warning them not to pursue a distribution deal.
The lawsuit had a negative impact on the film’s commercial prospects.
The big four streaming companies — Netflix, Amazon, Disney+ and Apple — have all given up the title, as have the boutique theatrical labels Searchlight, Sony Pictures Classics, Focus, A24, HBO and Lionsgate, the research firm reported. report From the pack.
