Trump blasts ‘befuddled mess’ Bill Maher, says New York Times should be ‘put to sleep’

Former President Trump on Saturday launched into a lengthy and blistering diatribe against Republican presidential candidate Bill Maher after the late-night show host and his guests weighed in on his claim that “Jews will have a lot to do with it” if he loses the election.

“Ratings-plagued Bill Maher is having a really hard time dealing with Trump Derangement Syndrome on HBO's increasingly boring show. He's confused, sloppy, tired and every conversation he has with any B or C grade guest seems to start with me or lead back to me!” Trump roared. At Truth Social.

Trump also took issue with Maher's guests on Friday night's “Real Time” segment, including New York Times columnist Bret Stephens, whom Trump called a “Trump-hating loser,” and MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle, whom he called a “slut.”

“They apologized to their readers in 2016 for their total failure and will apologize again in November. The failing New York Times is a completely lost and poorly managed 'newspaper.' Put it in hibernation!”

During the segment, the Times columnist called Trump a “truly frightening man” and “bordering on anti-Semitic,” adding that “democracy is at risk whenever anti-Semitism rears its head.”
